September 2014 - A new phase, a new name. FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - Naperville is still owned by Mary Rachford, PT. We have joined a community of like-minded private practice owners throughout the country who believe there is a future for our profession outside the large (and getting larger) healthcare organizations forming these days. Our focus has been and will always be on the well-being of our clients. Although our name is changing, we are still the same practitioners who have treated you with care and expertise. We now look forward to serving you and your family with services focused on health and preventive medicine in conjunction with the current services we already provide.
Mary D Rachford, PT started Naperville Physical Therapy in 1994. Physicians quickly recognized us as a reliable resource, and with their confidence, we were able to build an excellent support staff of experienced physical therapists, currently employing three physical therapists, one physical therapy assistant, and one occupational therapist. This growth required additional space, so in October 2001 we moved to a larger facility to provide patients a welcome environment in which to complete their therapy. After 10 years of business at 630 E Ogden Ave (2001 - 2011) we have made a progression to another larger space with a more open floor plan to be able to continue to provide first-class client care.
In 2017 we were pleased to add a new energetic business partner who brings her Occupational Therapy skills to our Fyzical family. Dina Kartsonas, a 27 year veteran in the healthcare industry, has held numerous positions at many hospitals in the Chicago area.
